PROJECTS
The landscape design presents an elegantly simple scheme that is both complimentary to the contemporary architecture and also sensitive to the seaside ecology. Drought-tolerant plants are used throughout, reducing the need for irrigation. On the southern side, olive trees shade the building while kangaroo paw offer seasonal color. Sculptural plantings of agaves and anigozanthus rise from a ground plane of blue senecio mandraliscae, lawn-alternative groundcovers that don’t require much water.
